Red Nose Day 2015

What a fabulous week it’s been! We’ve squeezed as much fun out of a Red Nose as anyone can, and the children certainly seemed to have enjoyed it.

In particular, we’ve seen a lovely selection of onesies over the past 2 days and some very funny noses!

In addition to dressing up, the whole nursery has been busy creating and baking. Roz spent time with the Butterflies talking about Comic Relief and explaining the reasons why we collect money to help other children.

The babies in the Ducks have made a yummy ‘Red Nose’ cake with cherries, for everyone to enjoy at tea time after their salmon wraps.

The Bears have been busy baking biscuits and flapjack and crispy cakes for children and parents to take home in return for a small donation.

And the Butterflies have been creating their own ‘Red Noses’ on paper plates and posing with funny faces for their friends to copy. We had a lot of thoughtful frowns whilst the children decided what kind of face they want to paint.

The children should be coming home with lots of stories about an eventful couple of days!
